“He's reached out multiple times to make sure everything is running smoothly, which we very much appreciate as we did not have that communication with our previous provider… Definitely recommend!”
Fire inspections tracked before they're due
We track your NFPA 72 schedule, send a reminder before each inspection is due, and save every report in your customer portal.
What you get after every inspection
A report in your customer portal, with every device we tested and what we found., and a copy kept on file for the fire inspector or your insurer.
- Every device, tested to NFPA 72. The panel, detectors, pull stations, and horn strobes, each marked pass or fail.
- Deficiencies in plain terms. If something fails, we write down what failed and why. We can quote the repair, or do it at our regular time-and-materials rate.
- Fixed, retested, and filed. Once the repair is approved, we make it, test again, and add the updated report to your file.
How often inspections happen
Most systems need one inspection a year. Some need them every six months or every quarter, usually because your local fire inspector requires it.
We confirm the schedule for your building, track every due date, and send reminders before each inspection is due.

Frequently asked questions
How often does a commercial fire alarm system have to be inspected?
New York follows NFPA 72, which requires most fire alarm systems to be tested and inspected at least once a year. A few devices have their own schedule. We track the due dates and send reminders before each inspection is due.
What happens if my system has deficiencies at inspection?
We write down what failed and why. We can quote the repair, or do it at our regular time-and-materials rate, and once it is approved we make it, test again, and add the updated report to your file.
Do I need to be there for inspections?
No. We set a day and time with you or your property manager, early enough to give tenants plenty of notice, and the report goes in your customer portal once it is reviewed.
Do I have to replace equipment to switch monitoring to you?
Not if you have a Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Potter, or Honeywell fire alarm panel. We reprogram it to report to our central station, then turn on the new monitoring and confirm it is receiving signals before the old account is closed. We plan the switch so there is no gap in monitoring. Have a different panel? Send us a photo and we will tell you your options, including a replacement quote.
Does a proposal cost anything?
No. Proposals are free, with no obligation. Each one has a clear scope, so there are no surprise charges later.
